Global Technology Campus Prague
An outer space-inspired building celebrating motion, culture, and collaboration within a global technology campus in Prague.
This new workplace within Prague’s Rustonka complex brings together seven floors and a rooftop terrace as part of a global technology campus designed to support multiple teams and future growth. HLW partnered with local architects Ian Bryan Architects to create an environment that responds to desk-based roles with a light, stimulating atmosphere—balancing focus, comfort, and collaboration while embracing a strong sense of place.
Inspired by Prague’s rich astronomical heritage and the campus’s role in accelerating agile, technology-driven operations, the design concept Motion Through Space transforms a long, rectangular floorplate into a dynamic journey. Enclosed elements punctuate the plan to create movement and variety, while each zone interprets the concept through distinct identities: vibrant breakout areas as Orbits, calm workspaces referencing Time, dramatic circulation zones as The Void, and warm, informal kitchenettes inspired by Nebulas.
Graphics, lighting, and iridescent materials animate corridors, staircases, and meeting room glazing, encouraging exploration and vertical movement throughout the building. Flexible breakout areas, onsite training facilities, and an adaptable welcome and event space support collaboration, while the rooftop terrace introduces an outdoor layer for social connection. Delivered through a frugal yet inventive approach, the result is a high-impact workplace rich in storytelling, character, and everyday functionality.
