Global Technology Campus Rome
A Rome workplace inspired by the Seven Hills, blending heritage, colour, and contemporary calm.
Set within a historic 1920s building in central Rome, this project transforms a complex single-floor layout—defined by multiple atria and circulation routes—into a cohesive and inspiring workplace. The design draws on the enduring topography of the Seven Hills of Rome, translating landscape into a layered interior experience.
Warm, earthy colours are used strategically to establish rhythm and flow throughout the space, guiding movement across open-plan work areas, meeting rooms, reception, kitchenette, and dedicated wellness, prayer, and focus rooms. Sculptural forms and climbing greenery introduce depth and softness, creating moments of calm while reinforcing a strong connection to nature.
A commissioned local artist contributed site-specific artwork, adding cultural richness and grounding the interior within Rome’s artistic heritage. Together, these elements create a workplace that balances historic character with contemporary functionality—an environment that supports focus, wellbeing, and everyday connection while remaining deeply rooted in its context.
