Despite a modest budget, the project was driven by the ambition to create high-impact, memorable spaces. HLW’s design team responded by introducing unconventional materials and bold applications of colour and texture, demonstrating how thoughtful design thinking can deliver strong visual and experiential impact within defined budgetary and programme constraints.
Located within a new building in the City of London, the project brings together urban and natural influences to create a workplace that feels both dynamic and calming. This balance supports the wellbeing of staff while offering a distinctive environment for clients and visitors. At ground level, an experience centre and event space forms the public heart of the project, designed to host industry-leading events and showcase the client’s unique position within the technology sector.
As part of a wider transformation of the City, the project contributes to bringing the tech sector further into the heart of the capital. Through inventive material choices, expressive spatial moments, and a clear understanding of client priorities, HLW delivered a workplace that proves impact is not defined by scale, but by intent, creativity, and execution.
